Email Notifications

HornetHive sends two types of email notifications to keep you in the loop — even when you're not in the app.

📊 Weekly Digest

Every Monday morning, you receive a summary of what your AI growth team accomplished in the past week.

What's Included

Section	Details
Outcomes count	Total completed outcomes for the week
Success rate	Percentage of successful crew runs
Crews used	Badges showing which crews ran
Top outcomes	Your highest-quality results (by quality score)
Quota usage	Progress bar showing monthly quota consumption
Pipeline runs	Count of multi-crew pipeline executions

When It Sends

• Day: Monday
• Time: Between 7-10 AM in your local timezone
• Frequency: Once per week (deduplicated — you won't get duplicates)
• Skip logic: If you had no activity that week, no email is sent

Enable / Disable

1. Navigate to Settings > Notifications
2. Toggle "Weekly Summaries" on or off
3. Make sure "Email Notifications" is also enabled

🚨 Crew Alerts

Proactive alerts fire when a crew detects something notable that needs your attention.

Alert Triggers

Churn Guard	At-risk accounts detected	"3 accounts flagged as likely to churn"
CS Health	Declining customer health	"Customer health scores declining — needs attention"
Analyst	Significant market changes	"New competitor detected in your space"
Any crew	Low quality score (below 4/10)	"Low quality output from Brand Builder (score: 3/10)"

What's in an Alert Email

• Alert banner — color-coded header with the alert reason
• Summary — first meaningful paragraph from the crew output (stripped of markdown)
• View Full Results — button linking directly to the outcome in your dashboard

Priority

Crew alerts are sent with HIGH priority through the email queue, ensuring they arrive promptly.

⚙️ Configuration

Notification Preferences

All email notifications respect your preferences in user_notification_preferences:

Setting	Controls
email_enabled	Master switch for all email notifications
weekly_summaries	Opt-in for weekly digest emails
timezone	Used to determine Monday morning delivery window

Managing Notifications

• In-app: Settings > Notifications
• Email footer: Every email includes a "Manage notifications" link
• Unsubscribe: Disable weekly_summaries or email_enabled to stop emails

🔒 Privacy

• Emails contain summaries only — never full crew outputs
• Outcome links require authentication to view
• Email addresses are never shared with third parties
• All emails sent via Resend with TLS encryption
