🔌 MCP Enhancement​

This integration will be MCP-powered, which means:

✅ AI agents will get real-time tools - Agents can create issues, update status, and search tickets with current data ✅ Automatic provisioning - Connect once via OAuth, agents work immediately ✅ No additional setup - MCP tools deployed automatically in the background

What Will AI Agents Be Able to Do?​

Once available, your AI agents will be able to:

  • Create issues - Generate tickets from PRDs automatically
  • Update status - Move issues through workflow states
  • Search tickets - Find relevant work items and blockers
  • Manage projects - Organize issues by project and milestone
  • Track progress - Monitor sprint velocity and completion

Example Use Cases:

  • HivePilot will create Linear issues directly from generated PRDs
  • HiveMind will update issue status based on meeting discussions
  • HiveWriter will check engineering progress before writing release notes
